Union Township, in the northwestern part of Hunterdon County, lies on either side of I-78. Many new developments have sprung up in the township merging with the old homes that dot the landscape. The township is also home to the Clinton Wildlife Management Area and part of the Union Forge Nature Preserve, 92 acres overlooking the Spruce Run Reservoir.
