Lebanon Township, the northernmost township in Hunterdon is bounded by the Musconetcong River. Be sure to visit the Township of Lebanon Museum in New Hampton. Built as a one room school-house in 1823, the building contains a re created 19th-century school room on the first floor; a gallery and a lecture hall are on the second floor. The beautiful Ken Lockwood Gorge Management Area is in Lebanon Township, as well as the Teetertown Ravin Nature Preserve and part of the Union Forge Nature Preserve.
