The Town of Clinton lies where Spruce Run and the South Branch of the Raritan River meet. At the riuer junction are two mills separated by a scenic 200 foot waterfall. On the western side lies the Clinton Historical Museum, originally built in 1763. Across the river is the old stone mill, now home to the Hunterdon Arts Center, with galleries and a theater. The Town of Clinton also serves as the site for an annual crafts show and antzque show.
